Bura is a small Market center serving several manyatta homes and the Bura Irrigation scheme. The town sleeps at 7.00pm in the evening where all shops, bars and hotels are closed for the day. This turbine has changed the place tremendously. People can now charge their batteries and mobile phones cheaply in this Battery Charging Centre Bura town is a small busy town in Tana River District. There are no powerlines in this lively town This area is on the Kenya wind corridor which runs from Tana-river through Garissa, Wajir and Marsabit.
