This machine stands on a 40 feet tower above anything else in that compound and the surrounding. The home has Grid power which has proven very unreliable. Our 1.5 KVA Inverter is powered from the battery bank hybrid charged from the wind machine and the solar power system. The Wind Cruiser has ability to bypass the inverter and power directly during constant winds. The home also has a solar circuit already installed for emergency lighting utilizing 2 x 80 watt solar panel. We have installed a switch gear for manual selection between the Grid power and Wind Power. This machine is air cooled gauze covered. It is able to deliver 300 VAC in a just a breeze. The fiberglass propeller 15 feet diameter spins easily and gains terrific speed. The tower has 2 sets of 4 guy cables holding it to the ground. It took a 4x4 truck to hoist the 40 feet tilt-tower from the ground and pulleys to mount the Wind Cruiser piece by piece.
